Three-Point Lighting

1 / 7

Step 1

The Full Setup

Look at the scene. You're seeing classic three-point lighting: a key light (main), fill light (shadow control), and back light (separation). Orbit around the subject to see how each light contributes.

Why This Matters

Three-point lighting gives the subject dimension. Without it, faces look flat — like a passport photo. With it, you sculpt with light, creating depth on a 2D screen.
